In spite of this, PokerStars continued to operate outside the United States and paid all penalties and other fines associated with gaming in the United States to the Department of Justice, and there is now an understanding between the United States government and PokerStars, continuing to allow PokerStars to accept US players. In addition to this understanding, PokerStars paid the Department of Justice the required funds in order to repay all of their American players. PokerStars will continue to maintain Full Tilt Poker online, and continue just as wise as its own online poker room for players around the world. Where online poker is legal, Full Tilt Poker is now available again.
