Live dealer games: the latest deal in online gaming

Gambling has been a popular online activity just as it has been a popular pastime since prehistoric times. In recent years, in order to make people feel as though they are playing in a real-time, brick-and-mortar casino rather than merely a virtual one, more and more online casinos have been opting for live dealer games. In other words, the players can use seamless live feeds to interact with actual professional dealers.

This use of live dealer games has tremendous implications for the world of online gambling. For instance, the Random Number Generators that have long been a staple of online casinos are no longer needed. The dealer and the players communicate with one another via Web cam, which makes the gaming experience more social. Many people prefer it this way. Other features of live dealer games include advanced chat features, lists of game statistics and records of game history, of which the last two make it possible for players to keep track of both their winnings and losses.

Naturally, some games are more popular or available in the live dealer format than others. Baccarat, blackjack, casino hold ’em and roulette are among the games that are most commonly played in this way, while in some casinos there are smaller sections in which some of the features of live dealer gaming are present. One online casino that offers a full experience of the sort is EuroGrand, where 3D views of the roulette games are provided. The live dealer platform of this casino includes clear graphics and crisp audio, thus ensuring that the kind of experience that the players have is as smooth and realistic as possible. However, players should disconnect during each live dealer session so that the game can later be restored with the full list of statistics still intact.

The online casino gaming solution TopGame, whose casinos accept players from both the United States and other countries, has just recently become one of the first to launch a live dealer gaming platform. So far, they have launched this platform on only one of their brands, Grand Macao Casino, which enjoys a very high reputation among both players and industrial professionals. All three of the live dealer options offered by TopGame are available at this five-star brand. Beautiful young women make up the majority of the dealers here, though there are some male dealers as well. Players have an extra incentive to try out the live dealer games because casino bonuses also apply here. In the future, other TopGame brands are expected to try out this brilliant new gaming option. Free play mode is not offered owing to the structure and complexity of live dealer games.

According to an April 11, 2014 report by the Web gaming periodical Online Casino Reports, a bunch of new live dealer games have been released at two of the top European online gaming venues, EuroSlots and Cherry Casino. Among these new games are Aliens, Girls with Guns: Frozen Dawn, High Society and HitMen. The second is a sequel to the earlier game known simply as Girls with Guns and includes a new bonus round and a set of wild card spots that remain fixed in place when a free spins round is made.

Venues that currently do not offer live dealing will undoubtedly do so in the hopes of attracting new customers.

Chicago May Get The Gambling Fever Real Soon

It seems that Chicago, Illinois, may be getting a casino very soon. The newly revise plan was pitched at a meeting. And the biggest support that they are aiming for come from Democratic Governor Pat Quinn.

There are already plans to add five new casinos to the Chicago area. But the difference with this one, is that it will be larger than anything that has come before. The plans for this casino is to have 10,000 betting position placed inside.

Now there are already arguments against it. Some have said that the market is already saturated with casinos and other gaming sites. There are even video gambling sites set up at local bars and various truck stops.

Still, those that are pushing through with these plans, are refuting these claims. But there could be other issues on the horizon anyway. Some are saying that this proposal may not even make it. Some lawmakers have even gone on record, by stating they want t piece of the pie. And it’s been reported that they won’t agree to it, unless they do get a piece of the action.

Gambling is a big thing in so many areas across the country. It’s become so big that it can’t be ignored. Gambling is a part of everyday life. Still, pushing for something like this is going to be even more difficult now. It’s been stagnated for 5 years and with election year coming up, it might be pushed back further. But, according to some, you can’t ignore the numbers.

Some officials have even said that there is a budget cliff that needs to be watched. One of these budget concerns is the temporary income tax hike. This expires on January of next year. If nothing is put in it’s place, then chances are slim that the money won’t be there for the casino.

The mayor is already pushing for another tax increase to help out with the pension cuts in the schools. So the question remains, will there be enough money in the budget to help push through the new casino plans?

According to the new plan, it will. The money that the casino makes will be split between city and state. The city can use the money for pension and educational expenses. The sate can use the money for education and construction.

As of now, the mayor doesn’t really wish to talk about the new casino plans, that is until the pension issue is taken care of.

The casino bill itself is aimed at winning the approval of Quinn. In the past, Quinn has not been supportive of the efforts to bring in new casino businesses. Once change would be that the state would own the casino. That would mean more control over the casino revenue, and how it is spent.

The city has also questioned the size. As of now they are offering an alternate proposal. This proposal would cut down the size, making it like the other casinos are now.

New England: A New Home for Casino Gambling…Or Not?

At one time, the only locations in the United States were legal gambling was permitted was the state of Nevada and Atlantic City, NJ. That has all changed and there has been quite a bit of growth in the gaming world. Most recently, casino gambling seeks to increase its presence in the New England region, much to the chagrin of other states that rely on tourism from New England for gaming revenue.

This is not to suggest that those in the gambling industry automatically get an easy pass in New England. Legislative hurdles do have to be overcome. So, the process may be a little slow but it has been progressing forward in the New England region. Boston, MA and the state of New Hampshire have both been the location of some legislative activity, both pro and con for the gaming industry.

The Mayor of Boston, Martin Walsh, has made a bid to allow the neighboring locality to be a host community for any projects and proposals related to casino gambling. Specifically, the neighboring cities of Everett and Revere would be designated such communities. If such a request was granted, then controversy could arise. Namely, the voters in the city of Boston would have the ability to kill off any projects. Obviously, this is not something that those involved with casino gaming would like to see happen.

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission was not exactly pleased with the request made by the mayor. The hearing has been allowed without any attempts to impede the mayor in his request. As Walsh put it, he prefers that the people in his city be allowed to take part in the democratic process and have a say in whether or not the gaming industry can expand. This means the citizens are, in essence, a party to the lucrative gaming contracts offered in the region.

North of Massachusetts, things are progressing forward in the New Hampshire legislative body to potentially increase opportunities for all involved with the gaming industry. State Senator Lou D’Allesandro is continuing his Quixote like journey to get the senate to approve the legalization of a casino. He has not exactly succeeded in prior attempts, but he keeps working on getting more lawmakers to see things his way.

A bill in the House Chamber would allow for a casino with 5,000 video slots to open its doors to the public. D’Allesandro has offered a counterproposal that would allow for two casinos to open. Interestingly, the bill still only allows for 5,000 total video slot machines that would be shared between the two casinos.

D’Allesandro has been abundantly clear as to why he is pushing for casino gaming in the state. He feels, rightly so, that the presence of the casinos means more revenue for the state. D’Allesandro has noted the state could, honestly, use the money.

New England is not a region most commonly thought of when it comes to the subject of casinos and casino gambling. Recent activity in the area reveals things may be changing and becoming more active as time marches forward.

I Will Bet You my Entire Next Paycheck

Alright so I won’t be giving you specifically a penny, but if you have ever gambled you know how fast your paycheck can go. With the power ball games in the news regularly when their jackpots hit huge numbers, and now a March Madness gamble that the odds of winning are next to impossible, I figured it would be worth discussing modern gambling trends. Especially since there is a recent push to regulate the gaming industry in several states like Florida and California. More importantly there is the bitcoin trend that is unregulated so gambling regulators are trying to figure out what to do about them.

We all know the amount of money gambling establishments make, but the simple fact is that it is a high risk industry so and a high reward payout for the very few. We have read the odds and know that whether we are playing black jack, the local lottery, or sitting at a slot machine, that we are unlikely to leave with what we started with. If this is such common knowledge why do we keep going? Why hasn’t the casino gone out of business yet? Is there really that much hope that at some point we will actually leave a millionaire?

The Reasons we Gamble

I know the excuse I use is that a portion of the proceeds from gambling in my community, a tiny portion, goes to public education, so I justify my spending by believing that even though I am wasting money at least I am still supporting public education. Some casinos offer incentives for you to patron them, so we have an excuse to go on a romantic date and still spend money. Even people who don’t gamble will go to a casino offering a spa or golf weekend to enjoy some type of a getaway.

There is a social concept to gambling as well. What do you think bingo is? That’s right, gambling, yet there are whole buildings designated as just bingo parlors. This is a place where people can talk, get to know each other, meet up, have a night or out, or simply just to gamble. In today’s modern world there amount of internet gambling going on is increasing also. The ease of playing games in the comfort of your own home while controlling what you play and how often is becoming more desirable. Not to mention apps on phones and tablets as well.

Why is Society so Against Gambling?

The main reasons people are against the idea of gambling is usually because of personal moral or religious reasons. What is interesting is that gambling is spending money with no guarantee of a return and a high potential for loss. Looking at it that way, isn’t investing in the stock market gambling too? It all depends on your viewpoint. Gambling can be an addiction for some people causing problems in their life the same way an alcohol or drug addiction can.

Even with so many people being against gambling, it will not go away any time soon. Gambling is quite frankly good for the economy. Casinos and the like employ hundreds of people. Scratch games and local lotteries create millions in tax revenue. Sports books allow you to be a little more personal in your investment with the same employment and tax benefits that casinos and lotteries provide. Don’t forget that most of these gaming establishments require some state licenses to even operate, again increasing state funds.

Mobile Technology Continues to Transform Casinos and the Gambling Industry

The gambling industry is constantly evolving, with new brick and mortar casinos popping up around the world and online casinos emerging as popular virtual gaming centers. While the Internet itself radically changed how games are played globally — allowing greater access to gambling opportunities and creating new forms of interaction with fellow players — it is mobile technology that is driving yet another transformation of the gambling industry these days.

Gambling no longer requires that you leave your house. Online casinos offer a comprehensive gaming experience, with everything from slots to multi-player poker rooms where you can play against real people in a virtual environment. Advanced technology has allowed for the creation of reliable player tracking systems and most online casinos have a consistent record of honoring the winnings of their users.

As more and more users have access to broadband internet, the games themselves are becoming more intricate, with complex graphics and special effects. Just as slot machines have evolved in brick and mortar casinos, so they have in the world of online gambling. Online slots often feature video game quality effects, composed soundtracks and narratives that make the games more engaging. When it comes to multi-player games, online casinos offer an interface that allows you to easily interact with fellow users, replicating what a gambler experiences at an actual casino.

Nowhere is the evolution of the gambling industry more evident than in the world of mobile technology. Smartphones and tablets allow players to gamble from anywhere. A user can now play games online while waiting in line at the supermarket or while traveling on the train, for example. Many online casinos have released their own applications, which allow players to easily sign in and start playing while also offering features that let users track their earnings and payouts and review their playing history.

Already a major factor in the gambling industry, it is clear that mobile technology will continue to evolve and attract more users. Juniper Research, the independent mobile telecoms research organization that specializes in analyzing high growth opportunities on mobile platforms, predicts that as much as 100 billion dollars will move through gambling applications on mobile devices by the year 2017. This growth is partly due to increased access to online casinos via cheaper and more advanced mobile devices, but it is also due to projected changes in local laws in certain countries that will permit more people to gamble legally.

Brick and mortar casinos certainly aren’t going away, but it’s clear that online casinos represent a new era in the gambling industry. Mobile technology takes this evolution one step further by providing broader access and increased convenience. While physical casinos can sometimes struggle to attract customers, online casinos simply have to find their way onto the smartphones and tablets of prospective gamblers. Finally, as mobile devices themselves become more complex, we may even see the introduction of new gambling environments, such as virtual 3d casinos which would yet again fundamentally alter the gaming world.
